Feel free to get a bite to eat whilst your there, plenty of other
people are likely to do that too... so you won't be the only one.
I've just checked the weather... and it looks like the sun should be out with no rain that evening, so hopefully we can be outside. I'll have some leaflets on the tables where we'll sitting... so that might be useful if you're trying to figure out where we are.
If you tried to come to this event 2 weeks ago... I've got written assurances that they WILL be open until 11pm this time!.. with food serving until 8pm.
Plus... they've promised a 20% discount on food/drinks for
closing early when we tried this before!

Hello again! (no, you're not experiencing Déjà vu!)
The summer meetup has been rescheduled and will now be...
At the KPA Clubhouse on Tuesday 10th September from 6:30pm.
If anyone wants to get any food from there, then they serve food until 8pm, and they will close up completely at 11pm (we've got assurances in email!). Feel free to get there earlier if you prefer to eat in peace before chatter commences!
I've had a good amount of replies, and (as usual for socials) I've made this a joint event between FSFE Potteries, ORG Stoke, and StaffsLUG all in one place :) The previous attempt at organizing this social had about 20+ people coming, so hopefully you'll all try joining us again!
Will be great to have a catch up, especially if the weather holds!

p.s. The KPA have said they're happy to extend a 20% discount on food and drink due to the last time we tried this! We didn't ask for this, but I won't argue with it. So when you're buying any food or drink, you might see a drop in price.
