Hello!

The lovely people at FSFE Potteries are holding their annual "I Love Free Software Day" event for 2026

It's an annual tradition of free food and drink over at the KPA pub up in Keele (details below).

Don't forget just how valuable free/libre software is to the Linux ecosystem! (and other open source OS's like BSD derived!)

Hope to see you there!

Hello!

Once again we and other Free Software enthusiast will be celebrating "I Love Free Software Day" on the Keele University campus in Staffordshire. Every year, the Free Software Foundation Europe (FSFE) celebrates ‘I Love Free Software Day’ together with many other organisations, companies and people. On this day, we thank all supporters of Free Software. Together we put the spotlight on their work on Free Software.

Our celebrations for "I Love Free Software Day" will be on the 10th of February, at the marvellous KPA Clubhouse. We'll have free hot food and snacks (inc. vegan and gluten friendly), soft drinks, and a few laptops running Free Software applications and games, so you can give them a spin!

Everyone is welcome, so bring along your friends, significant other, or family of all ages! Even if they've never heard of Free Software before, it'll be a good way to introduce them to the topic.

📅 Tuesday 10th February
⏰ 6:30pm onwards
📍 The KPA Clubhouse, 97 Horwood Road, Keele University, Keele, Staffordshire, ST5 5DY, United Kingdom
🌐 Latitude: 53.00137 Longitude: -2.26971
