Lo,

Just a quick message to say we decided (it was actually last week, but I've been on my holibobs, so haven't had much chance to say) to not do a LUG meeting this upcoming Tuesday as it clashes (down to the hour!) with an online webinar that ORG is hosting and ORG Stoke are promoting.

If you're interested then I've included a copy of the message I sent on the ORG Stoke mailing list below.

You can join the ORG Stoke mailing list here... https://lists.openrightsgroup.org/listinfo/org-stoke

Or instead (or preferably, in addition) you can join via Meetup.com... https://www.meetup.com/orgstoke

I'm going to CC in FSFE Potteries in case they're interested too.

Hi Folks,

Just sending this message as I realise not all of you may be on the Meetup.com group.

The local LUG was going to run a meeting this coming Tuesday evening, but it clashed with a nationwide webinar that ORG is holding (at exactly the same time too... the usual 7pm!)... which you can find details of here...

https://www.meetup.com/org-stoke-on-trent/events/293762196/

It will be a report on how well/badly both ICO and the Government handled confidential medical data during the COVID-19 pandemic.

If you don't have a Meetup account.. all I would say is that it is the preferred (but not mandatory) way ORG would like local groups to organise. You'll also find other groups like StaffsLUG on there too, as well as lots of other local groups, so it's not yet another username/password for just one thing!

However for this webinar it seems it isn't required and you can just directly register your interest for the webinar with Zoom using the link below...

https://us02web.zoom.us/meeting/register/tZEucOyrpjopHdSToMKNLAXGJ3AzSoklquL5#/registration

I'll likely just join it from home, unless anyone fancies coming up to Keele to watch it together?
