I bought a cheap outdoor wifi security camera which turned out to be one of many rebranded Tuya cameras and was surprised to realise there's no option to mail or upload the pictures/video to a location of your own choosing. You have to use a mobile to manage the camera, pay a subscription to have the video uploaded to the vendor's platform and I wasn't able to find a third-party firmware when I looked.
