Mail repeating?

Is anybody else find Gmail is repeating itself? On another list many Gmail users are finding that their posts are being repeated over and over again. Microsoft was distributing Ubuntu

(Sorry about the long link above) I'm wondering if the offer was withdrawn at Mr Shuttleworths request or did MS withdraw it themselves seeing as they got the concept of GPL slightly wrong which makes me laugh as they have done nothing but litigate licensing over the last 10 years or so. Actually this begs an interesting question, we all extol the virtues of Freely downloadable so how does Microsoft offering 'Download Space' for Linux Distro's' sit with the community? Appeal for hardware

Hello all. Does anyone know where I could lay my hands on a machine to run clarkconnect on? I reckon I need about a gig of ram and a reasonably quick CPU. It's for the Stafford Air Cadets. I've set up a computer suite there with clarkconnect community edition for the content filtering proxy server etc on donated hardware from a school. Teh computers are OK for basic windows stations (HAD to use Windown I'm afraid) but not up to the job for use as a server. Willing to pay a little for it but we are not rich! Thanks. Chris.

Ubuntu: Officially Brilliant

Hello all! I have been using Ubuntu for 2 weeks now, and I am beyond impressed! I have it on all of the media centre machines in the house, and on the server for all those media centres. I am running MythTV with quad TV tuners and remote clients all over the house. The server, even with 3 clients on-line, responds amazingly well, considering it only has a gig of ram and a 1.9GHzCPU. Jen and Russ, you are both right, Ubuntu is a fantastic distro. I recommend anyone who has a spare hard drive or space to download Ubuntu and have a peek at it, its truly an OS that's worth using.
