Hi guys - I have a 40GB HDD on my HP TC1100 slate PC and wanted to install Linux as as I&#39;m sick of fiddling with Live CD&#39;s - I flit between 10 of them and never stick any of them out.<br>I need to leave 15GB for Windows and wanted to divvy up the remaining 25GB.&nbsp; I have 512MB RAM so the swap is going to be 1024MB
<br><br>Would I be OK doing 15GB for the FAT32 shared partition, 1GB for swap, 4GB for /, 5GB for /home.<br><br>I intend to put Gentoo on there to use and understand the (in) famous package manager which I&#39;ve heard is top class.
