do keep looking at Gentoo.....)
gentoo's developer community has done nothing but descend into what
can only be described as a living hell nowadays IMO, if i were you i
wouldn't bother.. they've also changed from the relatively easy to
follow method of install and made it harder?... christ knows why, but
basically i no longer support gentoo (fyi, as i used to and have
commented on it before in a forum post with you i believe)
