With the utmost respect, why not? We discuss Linux yes but we do also
discuss many other computing issues. Surely a discussion about
hardware is perfectly fine? It is, after all, an OS agnostic subject.
Because the mailing list is for the Linux users group. Not the PC building
group.
I thought the lug mailing lists were for talking and asking questions about
Linux.
If you asked about how to run a server using Linux it'd be more fitting for
the mailing lists.
There are massive forums for hardware based discussions.
If this my theory about the use of the lug mailing lists is incorrect please
explain it to me.
