I've done it on windows at work. Had to export all the mac addresses
from the DHCP server to produce a batch file to stick as a scheduled
task.
I'm sure you can find a WOL utility and bash script it.

Pretty much all I know is that your BIOS has to support it and it
needs enabling in said BIOS. Other than that I've thought of setting
it up but never got around to it...I'm sure I did see a HOW TO so if I
can find it I'll post up the link.
