Actually, I'd be willing to bet that you won't find a Microsoft
'owned' item of software that is named after a person who invented it.
MS tend to use a generic type of naming. NTFS could easily have been
named Fred Bloggs File System instead of New Technology File System, a
bit like ReiserFS. But they don't do things that way at Redmond. In
fact, it would be unusual for anywhere to it.... Reiser being one of
the few exceptions.
Anybody heard how the case about his midding wife is going, by the
way? The last I heard he was number 1 suspect :-(
