Cheers for the input on this one. you can see how out of touch I am now as I honestly did not know that there was so much 'shaping' going on. As stated, absolutely honestly and nothing to do with who may be monitoring this list, I haven't used peer to peer for about 5 or 6 years. I can also honestly state that I have never downloaded anything illegal or dodgy via peer to peer. I only ever used it a few times to try downloading distro's and just couldn't get on with it. Usenet I used a lot, again 5 or 6 years ago (it could even be longer than that) but the closest I come to using newsgroups now is through Google's service and that is only a tech forum.
