The modem's not locked to any network. I will try and get hold of a SIM from
a different network and see how I get on.
Does the LED on the modem change colour when 3G is available? I was
wondering if there was any way of telling what sort of network you're logged
on to.
Al,
Green. GPRS
Blue. UMTS
Cyan. HSDPA.
I didn't know what the hell "cyan" was either but it's the blue and
green together!
TMob prepay is capped at £1/day. "3" prepay is £5/mnth.
You can mostly ignore the FUP at the moment, I imagine as more people
use these things that policy might become more strict.
Stuart
Yes, I might try and pop along to one of your meetings soon - see what you
lot get up to!
Cheers
Al
