appears to make sense, when this happens referring to the old error with RX packets just check your "ifconfig -a" to see if there are a certain number more errors there than before, if a pattern occurs it's more likely to be a software bug, if there is no pattern then i'd assume it's a manufacturer hardware defect, and no.. questions are why we have the lists

This eve I booted up and network down on PPP0 Open console startadsl -modem not operational. eaglestat then tells me to run eaglectrl -d. Modem lights up and syncs. Connected. Whilst reading these mails it dropped the conn but reconnected while i was looking at network monitor page. This may be separate prob cos the other PC does this occasionally.
Tell me when you've had enough of this!!
