Yes indeed!

I don't thing that the question of the LUG's direction has been narrowed down yet. These are the sorts of things best chewed over at a meeting. Those willing to make the effort to get out ot a meeting are more likely to be in it for the long term and are therefore the people you want determining the direction we take.

IMHO (which is probably not worth too much ;-)) At the mo I think it'd just be cool to get some of the list members meeting up somewhere - even if it ends up being a couple of different informal meetups to accommodate everyone it'd be better (I think!) than spending a huge chunk of time planning formal meetups with folk you don't really know?

Given everyone is generally quite local.. "how hard can it be?" heh
