I think some clarity is needed here so that innocent toes are not trod on.
The individual concerned was the list admin for the compiz user group
as far as I know he had no physical input to compiz in respect of code
however like most Lug/Webmaster could by virtue of position exert
influence on members.
This incident is distressing for both projects as there is cross
collaboration between the two so the compiz project/developers have
been tared by the actions of someone indirectly connected
unfortunately most people will use the term "That Compiz guy" which
makes this worse than an irresponsible act due to the unfair fallout.
