I propose that we:

1. Establish what the aims of the LUG are and what we want to achieve.

2. Bearing that in mind, agree a structure (which might be completely informal, who knows?)

3. Decide on people to fill roles.

4. Put meat on the bones. Decide how to meet our aims. What are we going to do and how are we going to do it.

From previous experience of chairing an organisation (a charity) that is no small undertaking! 1 & 2 would take some hours,
