No, apparently that is the perceived wisdom of the Kubuntu forums.
Plug the drive into a USB port and let the system do it all. No
touching the fstab file. I know, it doesn't seem right to me either.
Of course, we shouldn'y get confused with adding a permanent drive as
that would need fstab editing...possibly. But, on the other hand, who
on Earth would be adding a permanent drive to a Linux box that was
ntfs formatted? If there is a reason I'd love to hear it :-)
