What good open source or closed but free programs can people recommend
that must run at least on Windows. I'm thinking of equivalents to
stuff like Outlook Express. These are going into a community database
so that people can dip in and take a look and hopefully cut some
reliance on MS products. I already have Open Office, which must be
the biggie, and Scribus. I shall include both AVG and Avast anti
virus software (both closed source sadly). Any others please?
Have you added firefox, thunderbird also filezilla (ftp client)
