I have never had any difficulties, Its just a different kernel... But I really don't bother, I just run the x86 versions...
I use ubuntu's 64 bit server 7.10 alpha currently on a Sempron based machine so all things are possible!
No differences in my limited experience to set up and use than 32 bit.

But because I recently had a spending spree on ebay I now have a athlon64 and a new motherboard. What im wondering is how much more difficult is setting up and using a 64bit version of linux?_______________________________________________
