The government seems to have spawned a parasite. This will all be paid for
by levies on our electricity bill (have you heard how much those free light
bulbs cost you?).
When solar power becomes a financially sane option I will welcome it. Today
the power companies are forced to buy solar power at a ludicrous rate, and
they can only pass the cost back to us.
Of course, if free solar panels were available to me I would grab one and
laugh at all the mugs who had to pay for it through their inflated
electricity bills.
It amazes me how many people believe in free lunches and don't ask about who
pays.
