Are people still getting mail on this list? I asked (yesterday?) about when our next meeting is and have had nothing back. Come on, is it the shock that I've stated my intent to come along? Whatever, I have another question. Now, sit down because this is more of an open and closed source but free question encompassing all platforms but predominantly Windows. What good open source or closed but free programs can people recommend that must run at least on Windows. I'm thinking of equivalents to stuff like Outlook Express. These are going into a community database so that people can dip in and take a look and hopefully cut some reliance on MS products. I already have Open Office, which must be the biggie, and Scribus. I shall include both AVG and Avast anti virus software (both closed source sadly).
