[Staffslug] Wine and Win progs
Hi All,
I have been asking about running my electronic chart software, a Win
prog, under Mandriva.
The following extract was some bad news that I received:
I don't know SeaTTY but I do know C-Map and you aren't going

Registered Linux Mangler #001
to get it running.
Most WIN gps-software needs to access gps-devices directly
and can't do so on virtual or emulated devices.
Can anyone shed any light here, any experience with car systems and Linux??
The software is C-Map www.C-Map. com.
It uses a USB GPS receiver.
