I agree with the idea Richard I just question what use it is? I have,
in the past, campaigned on what could be called political issues -
I've set up petitions about national government edicts, I have stood
up and spoken at public enquiries, I have literally tramped the
streets delivering leaflets - all to no avail :-( The fact is that we
do not live in a democratic society just the false imagined one that
we have.
If there were some way of truly influencing what local and national
government did then I would be 100% for it.
Crewe and Nantwich is a bit too far from me anyway ;-) You do
however, have my full support from where I am :-)
For the record, I am 100% against ID cards, 50% for more nuclear power
stations, 100% for grants to enable individual members of the public
to install solar voltaic panels at their own homes.
