Dave is there anything keeping the lug tied to e107? I just don't
think
it cuts the mustard and we could do with something that is a little more
known (joomla,dupal etc)

Nothing at all. We would just potentially loose the forum stuff.
I only used e107 because it was there at the time and seemed to do the job.
