That's your problem kevan... you don't realise that things YOU have
problems with can most likely be the fault of the kernel.
The kernel is the linux kevan, THE KERNEL IS WHAT MAKES IT LINUX.
So don't moan about not being able to get things to work when you have
been using distro after distro without learning basic configuration
procedures for the DAMN LINUX ITSELF!
IF you REALLY can't do it, add everything and see what sticks
(genkernel does this for example... it'll be slower, cause it wont be
optimized, but it'll probably work!!!!)
Different kernels will contain different modules to make hardware work
- why not read the changelog or even google for what you need.
pull your head out of the sand and read a simple wiki post rather than
blaming the devs all the time!
better yet RTFM

That's just it, life is way too short Andrew. Go back 7 or 8 years
and I was willing to mess around and learn alsorts to get a distro up
and running. I beta tested for Xandros for heaven's sake.....
Nowadays I couldn't give a flying toot. If a distro won't work for me
then it gets ditched. I have way too many more important things going
on than to faff around with a faulty kernel.
