Woof! ung grrr :-)
OK my two penneth, I actually think these 'pads' are pretty cool they are the
obvious evolution of netbook, tablet (N810) and eReader.
I bought my wife a HP110 netbook for Christmas but tbh I wish I had of got her an ipad she
is the epitome of the 'cloud computer' all she does is Gmail, Facebook and some
web based games so a pad would be ideal for her.
Given that I'm seeing these eBook readers trying desperately to turn into web tablets,
Kindle-->wifi-->browser/voice, I think I'd rather have an ipad, at least I can
do a bit more with it. I am slightly surprised that the younger generation are not falling
over themselves for these things for me its a hard leap from holding a book to reading off
a screen I've only recently stuck all my music on my ipod and stored all my 78's
in the loft (Thought I'd get in the 78 joke before someone else did) but I'd
imagine younger peeps don't care about owning physical books?
Anyway if I had the cash I'd get an ipad tomorrow.
