dunno kevmeister i use exchange server for my college work, so i
should really LOL.. using gmail's browser interface lately because of
the sheer amount of mail i get.. synching all over the place is a pain
in the backside! i use thunderbird for my personal servers though

There are two schools of thought regarding replying to a message
thread on a mailing list. One is that normally you read the question
first then expect to read the answer(s). That's normal as it's how we
speak to each other, unless we happen to be telepathic. The other way
is that people want to see the answer first....yeah, right... I don't
know how true it is but I have been told that the whole epidemic of
top posting that is going on now is due to the way Outlook Express
(Microsoft) automatically starts an reply at the top of the mail
instead of below the received one. Not using OE I cannot verify this.
I much prefer to answer below the original message. To me that is normal.
