Of absolutely no help at all to Dave but I've been put off upgrading by a lot of the 'bug' stories I've heard. I'm running Ubuntu 9.04 ( don't like KDE 4 as I can't change simple things like the digital clock so I'm using Gnome now) on my 1.8ghz eMachine PC in my workshop.
