Actually this announcement/wish regarding Dell workstations is doing
the rounds on most forums and mailing lists, I read one worrying
response that indicated Dell intend to do *Drive Copy* on them which
I'm not a fan of as if there is the slightest corruption on the master
copy gets transposed to all the others.
I take it you mean instead of a recovery CD/DVD? It's about time all
the manufacturers were forced to give a proper copy of whatever
version of 'Windows' they supply as the original on the PC that they
sell. Oh, but hang on, they couldn't do that because it would bump
the price up massively wouldn't it :-)
