If you wish to regain your extra hard drive space you need to go to Start> Control Panel> Administrative Settings (or something like that) > Computer Management> Disks...and then remove the EXT3 partition from the drive that windows is installed from...you should then be able to format to NTFS and mount the disk as a new drive that windows can use. I'll write something better with pictures at some point today. Just not now. Hi Tracey Boot off the XP disc, select Recovery Console, when you get command prompt do FIXMBR that will wipe grub / fix the boot record. Out of interest why are you giving up on Linux? (Or are you?) Utilising a Rolling Release System packages are regularly updated and an ISO release is just a snapshot to the stable packages at that time.
