A little update. It's getting late, so I think I may stop soon.
- I've moved the majority of Jon's (very good) 'About' page to the main
page, as a sticky post. It looks much better to have static, welcoming
information, than a quite possibly confusing array of geeky articles.
Certainly for new users/those new to Linux.
- The Meetings page has been updated with more generic information. It's
essentially providing a 'where' and points to the Google Calender plugin
for the 'when'.
- I've updated the About Staffslug page to provide much deeper
information into the LUG and how it was formed, why it exists, etc. This
information really needs clarifying at the next meeting - direction
appears to be a hot topic right about now. Perhaps in the mean time we
could start a separate thread.
- I've added Ubuntu to the links (hoorarh!) and tidied them up a little.
Please, let me know what you think. :)

I've just been looking over the website, and thinking how it
could be
improved:
- I'm going to write an article in a minute. What it turns out to be,
depends on what I fancy writing about. I've got a few ideas :)
- The Wordpress installation was set to block search engines (this may
improve our listings, Phil!)
- I've tidied up the links a little, and added another section for
package repositories.*
- I've added a tag cloud that, hopefully should go some way towards SEO.
It also looks quite snazzy (
ninjabadger.net) when you've posted enough
articles.
I'll continue to tidy up a few of the ancillary pages. Feedback welcome! :)

* I'm personally wary about including /too/ many links, as I think it
just creates cruft. Perhaps keeping just the most common would be ideal,
but then.. It's and open discussion.
