I'm sort of interested in the Axis StorPoint, any idea if you

replace the ROM drives with HDD's? in theory I presume its possible
but would they function?

I have no idea about replacing the hard drives. The user manual might

I know they're SCSI drives, and they (and the hard drive) are fitted in
a way that is obviously intended to make removing/fitting easy.
I should probably have mentioned in my first post that it's in a 19"
rack mount fitting. It's just under 9" tall, which I believe makes it
5U.
