What would I do? I'd be consistent. I agree with them not shipping
KDE4 as default but, they should not have included Firefox3 for the
same reason. In my case Ff3 is somewhat flaky.
I think Firefox 3 is rarely unstable, though FF2 does have the
advantage. Including an auto-updating version of ff3 is ok. When it
comes to KDE4, that is so _massively_ buggy, and I'm saying that from
experience of a fairly recent journey into the depths of that specific
group of apps.
Ubuntu, after a reinstall and a full update, is now stable... though,
a .1 release service pack would improve it, as out of the box, MySQL
causes horrific problems, as does some other things...
