I have in my possesion a lovely little Sony VAIO Picture Book
notebook. Think mini notebook and you've got it. It's a bit bigger
than my ancient but still very workable, Psion 3a. Now, has anybody
any experience of these little beauties? Obviously with regards to
Linux. It's only got 64mb of RAM so forget Fedora or SuSE etc and
even Debian. I'm thinking of putting Damn Small Linux on it - which I
have recently discovered and like very much.
Of course, what I would love is to up the RAM....trouble is, it's
bloody expensive :-( Think of current prices and at least treble
it... it's a special chip of course, thank you Sony. So, if anybody
thinks they may know of somewhere that has some going cheap I'd be
very interested to hear of it.
