I'd have said no to this had I seen the email earlier. I didn't want to be
that awkward guy though so I've taken my first (and hopefully last) trip
down the M6 toll today!
This website: http://www.abd.org.uk/local/m6_toll.htm pretty much summarises
why I dislike the M6 Toll. Some of their criticisms are dated but most still
stand, especially the misleading signage complaint. The concept of a toll
road doesn't cause me a problem, just the M6 Toll. From what I read it was
at least partly financed with public funds which makes its under-use even
more of a kick in the nuts.
