nice to deface!
Hats off to Kris for speed of posting and coverage of everything, I'm
so glad we made him sit on his own in the corner. ;-)
Best set of minutes I think I have ever seen for a LUG meeting
anywhere, well done Kris.

Um not strictly true in my case, I love KDE and hate Gnome however I
did say It didn't want to install KDE4 at the minute so maybe it was a
typo in your report?
I I had been there I would have actually stated the same. I do not
like Gnome and never have (maybe I will one day). I would like to
install KDE 4 actually :-) though probably on a test machine rather
than the one I have just lovingly set up...

Ah sorry my mistake. I meant #opensuse.us sorry should have made
myself clearer. the #suse channel is actually pretty busy but with
weenie's asking to be told explicitly how to do stuff.
Similar situation with the mailing list the last time I looked. I got
sick of the trolls on there so I left it. I thought I had found the
hideout of the RTFM ogres. Not a nice bunch in my oh so very humble
opinion...
Brilliant post Kris, excellent meet, wish more had been there.
Yes, I only wish I could have come along. As I explained to Pete -
who very kindly offered a lift, cheers mate - I'm so very grumpy at
the moment I would not be good company. The weather has dropped
cooler and with it the arthritis has set in big time. Once it's
settled I'll be back to normal...not quite so grumpy :-)
