check for mozilla entire package?, installing from source takes a long time for firefox but here's how you'd do it firefox sources download http://download.mozilla.org/?product=firefox-1.5&os=linux&lang=en-US tar zxf filename.tar.gz (filename you just got in directory it downloaded to) run ./configure && make && make install (all at once in the same directory you downloaded to) it should just install itself then.. go make coffee!
