I've not tried Puppy. It's a bit bloated for my old IBM lappy. The mulinux i installed was a 2,4 MB install plus addons X11 and Netscape. Total install is now 21MB !! It's a very old distro, last updated 8yrs ago but runs fine and an ideal learning exercise for me getting it to work. There's no boot loader so I had to use W*n98 to get it from the mem stick to the hdd then run it from C:\ Linux ! Stuart
