heh. I have just broken my X Server now. So i have to lookup the following error, any ideas?

That makes sense to me.  You have a cube so therefore - not counting
the top and bottom of course - you should have 4 separate desktops as
standard.  What's the point in having a cube (3D) desktop otherwise
:-)
