from the one screenshot i've seen.. i can only hope it uses kde
default.. gnome being inferior (crashes more, bugs aren't as well
fixed/maintained as an average IMHO) and the developers generally
having a "we can't do it.. so we'll say it's for the best as it'd
confuse users anyway, who needs an address bar in their file explorer
after all?" atttitude.. long winded but that's the mentality you face
with the majority (i shan't tar them all with the same brush) of
developers
</rant> (i've no idea how it turned into one)
anyway, could be a promising distro if they give users enough options
to customise it how they want.. a problem i think the majority of
current distros have, they want you to stick to one way when you
choose their distro and lose sense of the "open" -ness in essence
i think i'd probably be hard pushed to choose anything but debian,
redhat enterprise or just go with FreeBSD nowadays though if i were
building a machine, maybe i'm set in my ways! i shall have someone
break ulteo (oh my friend's good at it.. he could crash a game of
tetris if he tried to just run it) and see what their fix(es) are
like!
longer email than i planned,
catch you guys later!

Nice one, Stuart. Care to do a proper write up including the
problems? I've not downloaded it myself yet. The reason being I
haven't the itme as o fyet to sit and properly look at it. In fact,
as soon as I've finished this mail I've got some more wiring to do in
my workshop. Once that's all done I can have a couple of PC's set up
to tinker on. Until then........ :-(((((
