I'm quite amazed that it's taken this long to get it into pfSense. That said, m0n0wall still lacks a DHCPv6 service (autoconf works fine for the most part, however) and there's also a lack of any routing support (not even RIPng) - though that's true of m0n0's IPv4 support, also. Thankfully Vyatta is the dog's danglies for IPv6-enabled routing on the cheap.. It turned an old 1U P4 into a very capable Linux-based router in not too much time at all. I've had limited success with getting OpenWRT working with IPv6 via Lua (the web interface) but the support is there in the OS if you don't mind getting down and dirty with the shell. But there are means and ways, definitely. Cisco's support for IPv6 is, as with many things, complex. Be sure to write down a list of the features you need and spend a few days (!) going through the rigmarole that is their Feature Navigator to ensure that the platform/featureset/IOS release you have (or are planning to buy) is suitable.
