[Staffslug] Wakey, wakey folks :)

I know it's been some time since we had any posts on the Staffs LUG so I thought why not wake you all up :) Ok, I have a question. I am currently running the latest Lubuntu distro (13.04 I think). I have it running lovely on an Acer Happy One Netbook, it's a new install by the way. Trouble is I cannot get Bluetooth working. It has an Atheros Bluetooth chipset. I do have Bluetooth installed, I have checked this in Synaptic. It will not even load the bluetooth-applet to the lower system bar. I have a feeling the chipset is not starting (it does work.... in Win 7, sorry). So, any pointers as to where I should start looking?
