Hi Dave,
I've just tested hibernate on my laptop (a Dell D420) and it seems to work
ok. Maybe you could supply some info about the errors you're getting with
it?
Also, you could try using suspend instead of hibernate. It's a lot faster to
suspend than hibernate and they've really improved the recovery time in
9.10. Before it took a few seconds to get X back on the screen but now it's
literally ready for me before I've finished opening the lid!

Hello all.
Well, I've decided to give 9.10 a whirl and so far, it's been
interesting.
At the moment, hibernate has stopped working, which I used to find very
useful and which worked perfectly in 9.04.. Just wondered if anyone else
has given 9.10 a try and if so, how are they finding it? (Also, if you
have any ideas about the hibernate thing, I'm open to suggestions!)
Dave
