Thanks for the info. Actually its only now and again I do the Front Page job's generally its a Joomla site, well they're very easy, pre-made (Pretty much)  and quicker to turn around.

You may or may not know but my actual job is Sales Manager so web sites are just a personal interest which fortunately I can sell which means work cant moan "That's not what we employ you for". I do own one of those teach yourself PHP in 24 hours books which I tend to use as a reference now and again.

So there's no need for a fresh install the command 'pacman –Syu' upgrades the whole system.
