WD, Seagate, Maxtor

Thay are the people I trust. But this 320Gb one is really good value at the moment... http://www.aria.co.uk/Products/Components/Hard+Drives/IDE/320GB+IBM+Hitachi+Deskstar+IDE+8MB+?productId=24791

This is one of those 'crappy' questions I know, but, can anybody
suggest something here?

I'm looking at upgrading my existing hard drive (main one in the main
PC).  I think I am going to get a 500gb IDE/EIDE (PATA) model.  That
seems to be the best point for gigabytes per buck :-)  Go over the
500gb size and the price rockets...  But which manufacturer?  I always
used to use Quantum until I had a load of bad 8gb drives (yes, it was
a long time ago).  I have recently used Seagate and had no problems
with them.  I seem to recall somebody saying that Seagate are one of
the lowest return to base manufacturers. What about Western Digital?
Are they any good?

Help :-)
