[Staffslug] Complete 1.2 GHz PC available

Hi folks, I've been sorting and rationalising my computer equipment. I've built two PCs from parts. One I'll be keeping and the other is now surplus. Specifications of the surplus machine are: - AMD Duron 1.2 GHz processor - 256 MB RAM - 40 GB hard disk - 48x CD-Rom - CD writer - 10 Mb/s Ethernet - Monitor (with speakers), keyboard and mouse - Legitimate copy of Windows XP (with disc and COA) - SuSE CD-Rom and manual - Inkjet or laser printer if you want it This machine would be ideal as a basic Linux box. Anyone need such a machine? It's located in Edgmond, postcode TF10 8ES. I know it's not worth a huge amount, but I spent most of a day building it. I'd be happy to do someone a swap. Smallish things I'm looking for include: - DVD writer - SCSI hard disks >18 GB, also Zip disks - ATX power supply, 350 W or larger - USB card - A big aluminium saucepan - Vintage electric motors and pieces of engineering history If you're interested, send me an e-mail.
