I tried to install a driver patch on Mandriva. The first time I got so many errors and Kde crashed repeatedly that I did a complete re-install. Trying again I got an error message saying that a suitable c compiler could not be found. What's going on? Any suggestions please. The device in question is a usb modem for talktalk broadband. eagle-usb.
