the whole laptop linux thing scared me off for a while, but when i finally made the switch
it
was so much easier than i'd imagined. the only thing i haven't got working is the
memory card reader
i've got a hp pavillion dv6174ea, and everything apart from the memory card reader is
running fine,
and didn't require special setting up apart from a couple of things.

don't know if you guys know but lenvo are perfect for the linux
laptopper recently, what with the supported intel 3945 card for
wireless et al....
just buying one now... thought you might like to go check them out
