Only because I told him.
A while ago I had a play with gmail and googlemail to see what the
difference was and so on. I sent test emails between a gmail account
and a googlemail account and determined that whichever version you
send to, it'll arrive in the same inbox. You do need to be careful
when signing up to lists, though. I forgot this account was googlemail
not gmail, and ended up able to receive LUG lists but not send to
them. Oops!
