(XP sees it as two devices as well when you install Huawei s'ware.)
iface before new kernel was "eth0:avah" but now is "ppp0"
I've found an app to give stats now but it's a "tar bz ./confuse
make&&make mess thingy" so have to do some loin-girding before
tackling that!
My hardware is a Huawei E220 usb modem. It's been unlocked so will
work with any sim, these things are locked to the system during
manufacturer's setup so require a firmware flash.
